I was filling out an application form and one of the questions it asked for was references that were not your relatives. So I wrote down a friend's name. The next question asked "how long have this person known you?" So I started counting, and realized that I have known this friend for 16+ years. Wow. what history and geez, i am old. Then I thought of my other friends and realized too that most of the friends i know, i have known for years in double digits (10+). It pretty amazing looking back that I have so many friends for so long. Actually, I just feel pretty fortunate and thankful for having good people around (and putting up with me for that long and still going). Cheers to all my buddies (those that have known me > 10 yrs and to those who haven't, but perhaps will in time). May the force be with you. :)
