I just discovered that i have a 8cm long by 1 cm wide dark-purple bruise on the side of my foot, just below my ankle (yes, i measured it with a ruler). It's been 3 days since my foot injury and only now do i discover this...i feel so out of the loop with my own body. I have been looking down at my foot all this time and never once did it occur to me to inspect it from the side. lol... The funny thing is that my mom pointed it out...you know what they say, mother knows best !!

ps: this new discovery goes nicely with the big huge pinkish grey bruise on the top of the foot. lovely.
