Just attended a course today and would like to remind everyone that email is not a safe form of communication, so be very careful. Everyday we write emails subconciously thinking that only the sender and recipient reads it however that is not always the case. The course reminded us that many others have access to it and sometimes things just happen. For example, the system operator could read it, things gets forwarded accidentally (or on purpose). And if you are at work, basically there is no privacy as it is office property. Our instructor told us of a horror story where this girl wrote a steamy love letter to her boyfriend and he forwarded to his friends, who in turn forwarded to other friends etc. etc.
Anyways, lesson today? Use discretion when emailing.

When my old company was in the litigation process, all of our emails since the start of humankind were given to both sets of lawyers to review. Management got to look at them and while they laughed at most of the stuff being sent, they reminded us that risque stuff should be avoided for our own protection. Creepy haha.
